Travel Occupational Therapist in Lafayette, IN

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide inpatient acute care rehabilitation in a hospital in Lafayette, Indiana on a 13-week contract. The caseload includes adults and geriatrics with high-acuity needs across ICU and progressive care settings. Cerner charting is used, and the rehab team includes 19 professionals.

• Evaluate patients and develop occupational therapy plans of care
• Provide ADL training, therapeutic exercise, and therapeutic activities
• Assess discharge disposition and update recommendations daily
• Document care and patient progress in Cerner
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds with the rehab team
• Supervise and guide COTAs as needed

• Indiana Occupational Therapist license
• NBCOT certification
• BLS certification
• 1 year of occupational therapy experience in acute care
• Acute care assessment, discharge planning, and patient and family education skills

• Manual therapy certification or licensure
• Lymphedema management experience
• Cerner charting experience
• High-acuity ICU and PCU experience
