Travel Occupational Therapist in Mound City, MO

A Travel Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with cognitive and ADL-related impairments in a long term care nursing home on a 13-week contract in Mound City, Missouri. The role uses standardized assessments, evidence-based interventions, and electronic documentation while coordinating care with patients, families, caregivers, and the team.

• Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and ADL-related impairments
• Develop and update plans of care using standardized assessments and evidence-based practice
• Provide skilled treatment with ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
• Document treatments, progress, outcomes, treatment minutes, and discharge summaries in the electronic record
• Communicate with the care team, patients, families, and caregivers about barriers and treatment plans
• Participate in care conferences, utilization review, rehabilitation meetings, and required in-services

• Missouri Occupational Therapist license
