Travel Occupational Therapist in Independence, MO

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide evaluations and treatments in an acute care hospital and inpatient rehab unit on a 12 week contract in Independence, Missouri. The role supports a 16 bed inpatient rehab unit in a Level 2 trauma center, with acute care ratios of 12:1 and rehab ratios of 4:1 to 5:1, and uses Meditech charting.

• Evaluate patients and develop occupational therapy plans
• Provide treatment for acute care and inpatient rehab patients
• Assist with ADLs and mobility training
• Use rehab gym equipment during sessions
• Document care in Meditech
• Collaborate with the care team on patient progress

• Missouri Occupational Therapist license
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program
