Travel Occupational Therapist in Humansville, MO

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitative care in a nursing home setting on a 13-week contract in Humansville, Missouri. The role serves adults with cognitive and ADL-related functional needs and uses an electronic documentation system for clinical records.

• Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and ADL functional disorders
• Develop and adjust plans of care based on patient progress and outcomes
• Provide skilled treatment using ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
• Document treatments, outcomes, and required records in the electronic system
• Communicate progress, barriers, and discharge plans with the care team and families
• Support discharge summaries, consultations, and patient education
• Assist with care conferences and rehabilitation meetings

• Missouri Occupational Therapist license
• Compact license accepted
• NBCOT and AOTA practice standards
• Ability to work with patients with cognitive and ADL-related functional needs
• Strong clinical documentation and care-planning skills
