Travel Occupational Therapist in Independence, MO

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide evaluations and treatments in an inpatient rehab unit at an acute care hospital on a 12-week contract in Independence, Missouri. The setting includes acute and rehab caseloads, Meditech charting, and a Level 2 trauma environment. Acute patients are about 12:1, and rehab patients are 4-5:1.

• Evaluate patients and develop therapy plans
• Provide occupational therapy treatments for acute and rehab patients
• Support ADLs and functional mobility
• Use rehab gym equipment during therapy sessions
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in charting
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team

• Missouri occupational therapist license
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Strong patient evaluation and treatment skills

• Acute care and rehabilitation experience
