Travel NICU RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill newborns in a level 3-4 NICU on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit has 97 beds, typical ratios of 3-4 patients per RN, and uses CPN and Meditech.

• Monitor and assess neonates with complex medical needs
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and other ordered treatments
• Manage neonatal equipment and support safe use of monitors and pumps
• Document assessments, care, and responses in the electronic record
• Collaborate with the care team to adjust plans for changing conditions
• Provide family education and support in the NICU

• Active Registered Nurse license in Texas
• BLS and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience
• Neonatal critical care nursing skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
