Travel NICU RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care in a neonatal intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit is a Level III neonatal intensive care unit with 65 beds and patient ratios from 1:1 to 4:1. Charting uses Meditech and CPN.

• Assess and monitor critically ill newborns
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Support ventilators, isolettes, feeding pumps, and breast pumps
• Collaborate with charge nurses, transport nurses, respiratory therapists, and assistants
• Document patient status and care updates
• Respond to changes and support family education

• Current Texas Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• 2 years of NICU experience

• 2 years of Level 4 NICU experience
