Travel NICU RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for critically ill newborns in a Level III NICU at an acute care hospital in Austin, Texas on a 13-week contract. Meditech and CPN charting support bedside documentation, and patient ratios range from 1:1 to 4:1.

• Assess and monitor critically ill newborns
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Support ventilator care, isolette care, and feeding support
• Document assessments and responses in charting systems
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the care team
• Respond to changes in condition and stabilize patients

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• 2 years of NICU experience

• 2 years of Level 4 NICU experience
