Travel NICU RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for high-acuity newborns in a hospital neonatal intensive care unit in Austin, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit serves Level III and IV patients, with 3:4 patients per nurse, CPN and Meditech charting, and NICU equipment such as infusion pumps, isolettes, and monitors.

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill newborns
• Monitor vital signs, growth, and response to treatment
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies
• Support ventilator care and other neonatal interventions
• Collaborate with the neonatal care team on daily plans
• Document assessments, treatments, and changes in condition

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience

• Previous travel experience
