Travel NICU RN in Mckinney, TX

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for newborns in a hospital NICU on a 13-week contract in McKinney, Texas. The unit has 7 beds, a 2:3 staffing ratio and Meditech charting, with respiratory support equipment and delivery attendance as part of the setting.

• Provide nursing care for critically ill neonates in the NICU
• Monitor respiratory status and support infants on BCPAP and HFNC
• Assist with deliveries, including C-sections, and immediate newborn stabilization
• Document assessments, interventions and responses in the charting system
• Collaborate with the neonatal care team to adjust plans as needs change
• Educate and support families throughout the infant care process

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP certification
• 2+ years of hospital specialty experience
• Level III NICU experience
• Ability to attend deliveries, including C-sections

• Meditech charting experience
• Team player mindset
