Travel NICU RN in Webster, TX

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for neonates in a level III NICU on a 13-week contract in Webster, Texas. The unit uses CPN and Meditech and cares for very premature infants with advanced respiratory support and line care.

• Administer medications using safe calculation and the five patient rights
• Monitor neonates on CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula and nasal cannula
• Manage feeding tubes, IV access and central lines
• Perform lab draws and track patient changes
• Support developmental care, safe sleeping and family teaching
• Assist with unit procedures and escalate concerns promptly

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• Safe neonatal medication calculation and administration
• Expressed breast milk handling and neonatal feeding tube care
• Neonatal abstinence syndrome scoring and lab draw proficiency

• ETT, ventilator and JET experience
• Cooling protocol experience
• Surgical neonatal care experience
