Travel NICU RN in Plano, TX

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill newborns in a hospital in Plano, Texas on a 13-week contract. The 41-bed unit is a Level II-III NICU with patient ratios from 1:1 to 1:4 and uses CPN and Meditech.

• Assess and monitor premature and critically ill newborns
• Support respiratory care with conventional vents, CPAP, NIPPV and HFOV
• Manage central lines and ostomy care for NICU patients
• Provide micropreemie care and assist with surgery
• Document nursing care in CPN and Meditech
• Collaborate with the neonatal team to coordinate care

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Level II-III NICU experience

• Level III-IV NICU experience
