Travel NICU RN in Plano, TX

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for critically ill newborns in a NICU on a 13-week contract in Plano, Texas. The unit uses CPN and Meditech and supports advanced respiratory care, central lines, and ostomy care for neonatal patients.

• Provide direct care for critically ill newborns in the NICU
• Monitor respiratory status and support infants on HFOV, conventional vents, CPAP, and NIPPV
• Assist with central line management, ostomy care, and post-operative neonatal needs
• Perform focused assessments and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and fluids as ordered
• Document care in CPN and Meditech
• Collaborate with the NICU team and charge nurse

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP
• Level II-III NICU experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Level III-IV NICU experience
