Travel NICU RN in Lubbock, TX

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for neonates in a level IV NICU at a children’s hospital in Lubbock, Texas for a 13-week contract. The unit uses Epic, has 43 beds, and typically sees 1:2-4 ratios with an average daily census of 35.

• Provide direct care for neonates with prematurity, respiratory distress, sepsis, and surgical needs
• Monitor vital signs, thermoregulation, and cardiorespiratory status
• Administer medications, blood products, fluids, and enteral feedings
• Manage central and peripheral lines, IV access, and blood draws
• Support ventilator, CPAP, HFNC, and oxygen therapy
• Educate and support families while coordinating with the care team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP Advanced
• 2 years of NICU experience
• Epic charting experience

• Level III NICU experience
• Care of extremely premature neonates
• NICU IV experience
