Travel NICU RN in Lubbock, TX

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for neonates in a level IV unit on a 26-week contract in Lubbock, Texas. The 43-bed unit cares for an average daily census of 35 and uses Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Deliver nursing care for neonates with prematurity, respiratory distress, sepsis, hypoglycemia, and surgical needs
• Monitor ventilatory support, oxygen delivery, and thermoregulation
• Administer medications, blood products, and neonatal IV therapy
• Assist with lines, tubes, chest tubes, and tracheostomy care
• Perform assessments, blood glucose checks, and APGAR scoring
• Support feedings, breast milk handling, and family teaching

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP Advanced
• 2 years of NICU experience
• Epic charting system experience

• Invasive hemodynamic monitoring
• Care of neonates under 24 to 28 weeks
• NICU IV
