Travel NICU RN in Lubbock, TX

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for neonates in a hospital unit in Lubbock, Texas on a 26-week contract. The unit serves newborns with prematurity, respiratory distress, sepsis, and surgical needs, with 43 beds, an average daily census of 35, 1:2-4 ratios, and Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide bedside care for premature and critically ill newborns
• Monitor respiratory status and support CPAP, ventilator, and oxygen therapy
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
• Manage central and umbilical lines, feeds, and tube placement
• Assist with sepsis workups, phototherapy, and thermoregulation support
• Educate families and support developmental care

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP Advanced
• 2 years of NICU experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Neonatal critical care skills with blood products, ventilator support, CPAP, central lines, and neonatal dosage calculations

• Invasive hemodynamic monitoring
• Experience with extremely premature neonates
• NICU IV experience
