Travel NICU RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill newborns in a level III-IV NICU on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit uses CPN and Meditech and typically manages 3 to 4 patients per RN.

• Provide direct care for critically ill newborns
• Monitor vital signs and detect changes in condition
• Administer medications, fluids, and ordered therapies
• Support respiratory, feeding, and thermoregulation needs
• Operate pumps, monitors, and incubators safely
• Coordinate care with neonatologists and the care team
• Document assessments, treatments, and responses accurately

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• 2 years of Level III NICU experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong neonatal assessment and critical care skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
