Travel NICU RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for critically ill newborns in a hospital neonatal intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit is Level 3-4, has about 97 beds, uses CPN and Meditech for charting, and supports 1:3 to 1:4 patient ratios with pumps, isolettes, and monitors.

• Assess and monitor critically ill newborns
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products
• Support ventilator and respiratory care
• Manage thermoregulation, feeding, and daily newborn care
• Collaborate with neonatologists and the care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• NRP and BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience
• Strong neonatal assessment and critical care skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
