Per Diem NICU RN in Los Angeles, CA

A Per Diem Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for neonates in an acute care hospital unit in Los Angeles, California. The Level 3 unit has 23 beds, a 1:3 ratio, and charting in Allscripts EMD; patients range from 22 weeks to term.

• Assess and monitor neonates from 22 weeks to term
• Manage ventilator support, bubble CPAP, and oxygen delivery systems
• Administer blood products and support thermoregulation
• Perform central line care and blood draws
• Assist with bottle, breast, and gavage feedings
• Document care and coordinate with the neonatal team

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• 2+ years of Level 3 NICU experience
• EPIC experience
• Los Angeles fire card

• STABLE certification
• Teaching hospital experience
• Level 4 NICU experience
