Travel NICU RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill newborns in a hospital neonatal intensive care unit during a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit uses Meditech, supports trachs, home ventilators, central lines, chest tubes, feeding pumps and high flow nasal cannulas, with 3:1 or 4:1 ratios.

• Provide intensive nursing care for newborns with complex needs
• Monitor respiratory support, oxygenation and feeding tolerance
• Assist with trach and home ventilator management
• Perform central line care and support chest tube management
• Document assessments and care in Meditech

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and PALS
• High flow nasal cannula experience
• Trach and home ventilator experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
