Travel Medical Assistant in Spokane, WA

A Travel Medical Assistant, a Certified Medical Assistant, will support hepatology patient care in an outpatient clinic on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The clinic serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, sees about 40 visits a day, and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Record histories, medications, and allergies
• Support hepatology visits for mixed-age patients
• Review lab results and coordinate follow-up needs
• Handle refill requests and patient phone calls
• Complete authorization forms and other clinic tasks

• Washington Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant credential
• BLS certification
• One year of medical assistant experience
• Epic charting experience
• Experience working with disabled adults and healthcare terminology

• Physiatry experience
