Travel Medical Assistant in Issaquah, WA

A Travel Medical Assistant Certified Medical Assistant will support patients in a primary care clinic on a 13-week contract in Issaquah, Washington. The unit serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, with Epic charting, interpretation services, and 8 rooms.

• Room patients and collect histories, medications, allergies, vitals, height, and weight
• Administer medications, immunizations, and injections per clinic protocol
• Perform point-of-care testing, including glucose, urine, hearing, vision, pregnancy, and EKGs
• Assist with aseptic setup, specimen handling, ear lavage, and Pap smears
• Place follow-up calls and support patient communication and visit flow

• Certified Medical Assistant credential
• Washington Medical Assistant-Certified license
• BLS certification
• 6 months of medical assistant experience
• Epic charting experience
• Clinical skills in rooming patients, vital signs, medication administration, and specimen collection

• Pediatric outpatient experience
• Private physician office experience
• Insurance verification, authorization forms, and scheduling
• Pharmacy calls, refill requests, and supply ordering
• Management or lead experience
