Travel Medical Assistant in Seattle, WA

A Travel Medical Assistant Certified Medical Assistant will support adult general urology care in a clinic on a 13-week contract in Seattle, Washington. The unit uses EPIC and serves adults with general urology needs. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Room patients and gather histories, medications and allergies
• Obtain vital signs and prepare patients for exams
• Assist with cystoscopy, prostate biopsy and bladder scans
• Set up and maintain sterile fields and procedure trays
• Label specimens and support specimen handling
• Support patient flow and clinic follow-up tasks

• Certified Medical Assistant credential or Medical Assistant-Registered with procedural-heavy clinic experience
• BLS certification
• 6 months of medical assistant experience in an adult or pediatric outpatient clinic
• Specimen labeling, vital signs, medication and allergy review, and rooming patients

• EPIC charting experience
• Medication administration, immunization support and urine testing
• Insurance verification, follow-up calls and sterile tray setup
