Travel Medical Assistant in Seattle, WA

A Travel Medical Assistant Certified Medical Assistant will support outpatient dermatology care in Seattle, Washington on a 13-week contract. The clinic serves adolescents and adults and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Assist with biopsies, suture removal, wound care, dressing changes, and numbing support
• Collect, label, and process specimens
• Document histories, medications, allergies, and follow-up care in Epic
• Place follow-up phone calls and support refill requests and authorization forms
• Prepare sterile trays and support provider workflow during outpatient visits

• Certified Medical Assistant credential
• BLS certification
• 1 year of medical assistant experience in an adult outpatient clinic setting
• Experience with patient rooming, vital signs, specimen handling, and wound care

• Dermatology experience
• ENT experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Biopsy, dressing change, and sterile tray experience
