Travel Medical Assistant in Seattle, WA

A Travel Medical Assistant Certified Medical Assistant will support cardiology care in an outpatient clinic in Seattle, Washington on a 13-week contract. The clinic uses EPIC and serves adult and pediatric patients, and first-time travelers are welcome. The role is temp to hire.

• Room patients and collect histories, medications, and allergies
• Take vital signs, height, weight, and pulse oximetry
• Obtain 12-lead EKGs and perform glucometer checks
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed
• Prepare exam rooms and support positioning and draping
• Handle chart preparation, telephone triage, and follow-up calls
• Stock supplies and support office workflow

• Certified Medical Assistant credential
• BLS certification
• 6 months of medical assistant experience
• Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program

• Cardiology clinic experience
• EPIC charting experience
• Insurance verification and authorization forms
• Pharmacy calls and patient refill requests
