Travel Medical Assistant in Seattle, WA

A Travel Medical Assistant Certified Medical Assistant will support family medicine care in a primary care clinic on a 13-week contract in Seattle, Washington. The role serves adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics in a fast-paced outpatient setting with Epic charting and team-based support.

• Room patients and collect histories, medications, and allergies
• Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and pulse oximetry
• Support point-of-care testing, including glucometer checks, urine tests, strep testing, and vision screening
• Assist with injections, immunizations, TB testing, EKGs, nebulizer treatments, ear lavage, and specimen labeling
• Prepare charts, update documentation, and complete Epic entries
• Handle phone triage, refill requests, scheduling, and patient follow-up calls
• Assist with clinic procedures such as pap smears, biopsies, positioning, and draping

• Certified Medical Assistant credential
• BLS certification
• At least 6 months of Medical Assistant-Certified experience in family medicine or adult and pediatric outpatient care
• Epic charting system experience
• Strong clinic skills in rooming, vital signs, telephone triage, and point-of-care testing

• OB experience
• Medication administration
• Intradermal injections
• Suture removal
