Travel Medical Assistant in Seattle, WA

A Travel Medical Assistant Certified Medical Assistant will support a primary care clinic during a 13-week contract in Seattle, Washington. The unit serves infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in a fast-paced family medicine setting with EPIC charting and team-based care.

• Room patients and prepare exam areas
• Record histories, medications, allergies, and vitals
• Obtain weights, pulse oximetry, and 12-lead EKGs
• Assist with immunizations, injections, and medication administration
• Support specimen collection, labeling, and basic lab work
• Set up aseptic trays and maintain supplies
• Schedule appointments and follow up on care requests

• Certified Medical Assistant credential
• Basic Life Support certification
• 6 months of Medical Assistant experience in family medicine or outpatient care
• EPIC experience
• Aseptic technique and phlebotomy support skills

• Internal Medicine experience
• Telephone triage and follow-up call experience
• Blood glucose testing with glucometer
• Pharmacy call and refill request handling
