Travel Medical Assistant in Seattle, WA

A Travel Medical Assistant-Certified will support pediatric patients in a busy outpatient clinic in Seattle, Washington on a 26-week contract. The unit serves infants, pediatrics, and adolescents with about 24 visits across 2 rooms. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Room patients and record histories, medications, and allergies
• Obtain vital signs and complete hearing and vision screening
• Assist with nebulizer treatments and immunizations
• Collect, label, and process throat, urine, and venipuncture specimens
• Perform blood glucose checks and support telephone triage
• Handle refill requests, follow-up calls, TB testing, and suture removal

• Washington Medical Assistant-Certified credential
• BLS certification
• 1 year of Medical Assistant-Certified experience in an adult outpatient clinic
• Experience with any charting system
