Travel Medical Assistant in Seattle, WA

A Travel Medical Assistant-Certified will support adults in an outpatient pulmonary clinic for a 13-week contract in Seattle, Washington. The unit uses EPIC and provides spirometry, FeNO and 6 minute walk testing.

• Room adult patients and obtain histories, medications, allergies and vital signs
• Assist with nebulizer treatments, spirometry support, FeNO testing and 6 minute walk testing
• Collect and label specimens, including sputum samples, and complete strep testing
• Administer immunizations, intramuscular injections and TB tests as assigned
• Prepare exam rooms, manage chart prep and update EPIC documentation
• Handle authorization forms, refill requests, follow-up calls and supply stocking

• Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential
• BLS certification
• 6 months of recent medical assistant experience in an adult outpatient pulmonary clinic
• EPIC charting experience
• Core skills in rooming patients, obtaining vital signs and documenting histories, medications and allergies

• 1 year of recent medical assistant experience in an adult outpatient pulmonary clinic
