Travel Medical Assistant in Edmonds, WA

A Travel Medical Assistant Certified will support an adult outpatient clinic in Edmonds, Washington on a 13-week contract. Adults and geriatrics are seen, Epic charting is used, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Obtain vital signs and measurements
• Prepare patients for exams and procedures
• Assist with injections, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing
• Room patients and gather histories, medications, and allergies
• Support wound care, dressing changes, and suture removal
• Handle authorization forms, refill calls, and appointment scheduling

• Washington Medical Assistant-Certified credential
• BLS certification
• 1 year of MA-C experience in an adult outpatient clinic
• Epic charting experience

• Medication administration and TB testing
• Immunizations, intradermal, and intramuscular injections
• Pap smears, dressing changes, and wound care
• Telephone triage, refill calls, and authorization forms
