Travel Medical Assistant in Olympia, WA

A Travel Medical Assistant Certified or Registered Medical Assistant will support a general family medicine outpatient clinic in Olympia, Washington for a 13-week contract. The role includes rooming, well child checks, wellness visits, immunizations, procedures, in-basket work, and Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Support well child and wellness visits
• Assist with immunizations and office procedures
• Manage in-basket tasks and patient paperwork
• Help with check-in, check-out, phone coverage, and scheduling
• Support patient messages and clinic flow

• Washington Medical Assistant-Certified or Medical Assistant-Registered credential
• Basic Life Support certification
• 6 months of medical assistant experience
• Epic experience
• Healthcare terminology knowledge
• Clinical skills in rooming patients, vital signs, pulse oximetry, history collection, medication and allergy review, and clean-catch urinalysis
