Travel Medical Assistant in Spokane, WA

A Travel Medical Assistant Certified Medical Assistant will support outpatient clinic care for stroke and cognitive patients on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. Epic charting is used, adults and geriatrics are seen, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Room patients and prepare exam rooms
• Manage prior authorizations for referrals, medications, and procedures
• Prepare charts and manage the in-basket
• Place patient phone calls and follow up on requests
• Support multiple providers and handle a varied clinic workload
• Assist patients with physical limitations and other clinical support tasks

• Washington Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant credential, pending accepted
• BLS
• 2 years of medical assistant experience
• Epic charting experience
• Healthcare terminology knowledge
• Experience working with disabled adults

• 3+ years of medical assistant experience
