Travel Medical Assistant in Spokane, WA

A Travel Medical Assistant Certified Medical Assistant will support a clinic in Spokane, Washington on a 13-week contract. This outpatient clinic uses Epic and supports one provider within a 20-provider practice. Pediatric experience is welcome, and first-time travelers are accepted.

• Room patients and prepare exam rooms
• Collect vital signs, histories, medications, and allergies
• Support one provider and assist others as needed
• Document patient information in Epic
• Collect height, weight, pulse oximetry, and clean-catch urine specimens
• Label specimens and stock supplies

• Washington Medical Assistant-Certified credential
• BLS certification
• 2+ years of medical assistant experience
• CPT
• Vital signs, history, medication and allergy review, pulse oximetry, height and weight, specimen labeling, and clean-catch urine collection

• Pediatric experience
• General or family practice experience
• Aseptic or sterile tray setup
• Urine dipstick and urinalysis
