Travel Medical Assistant in Olympia, WA

A Travel Medical Assistant Certified Medical Assistant will provide clinical support in an outpatient family medicine clinic on a 13-week contract in Olympia, Washington. First-time travelers are welcome. Epic charting is used, and occasional front-office support helps keep clinic flow moving.

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Record histories, medications, and allergies
• Assist with telephone triage and patient messages
• Support immunizations, nebulizer treatments, and TB testing
• Collect, label, and process specimens
• Perform follow-up calls, refill requests, and suture removal

• Washington Medical Assistant-Certified credential
• BLS
• 1 year of medical assistant experience
• Epic experience
• Healthcare terminology knowledge and clinical support skills
• Patient rooming and specimen handling skills
