Travel Medical Assistant in Everett, WA

A Travel Medical Assistant Certified Medical Assistant will provide clinical support in an outpatient family medicine clinic on a 13-week contract in Everett, Washington. The clinic serves infants through geriatrics, uses Epic, and welcomes first-time travelers.

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, histories, medications and allergies
• Assist with well child checks, wellness visits and routine family medicine visits
• Administer immunizations and support in-office procedures
• Collect specimens, complete urine testing and perform blood glucose checks
• Handle telephone triage, patient messages, pharmacy calls and follow-up calls
• Support check-in, check-out, scheduling and clinic flow as needed

• Washington state medical assistant certification or registration
• BLS certification
• 1 year of medical assistant experience
• Epic charting experience
• Rooming, vital signs, patient intake and medication reconciliation skills
• Hearing and vision screening, specimen handling, immunization, venipuncture and telephone triage skills

• Well child check experience
