About this job

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult patients on a med/surg telemetry floor in West Des Moines, Iowa for a 26-week contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patient condition and report changes
  • Monitor telemetry and follow cardiac rhythms
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
  • Document assessments, interventions, and responses
  • Educate patients and families on care plans

Qualifications

  • Iowa Registered Nurse license
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • NIHSS certification
  • Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program

Preferred Skills

  • Trauma Nursing Core Course certification
