Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care in an acute care hospital for a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The role supports adult med surg, telemetry, step down, oncology, ortho, and surgical patients.

• Monitor telemetry and recognize rhythm changes
• Assess adult medical-surgical patients and report changes
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other ordered treatments
• Perform wound care, post-op care, and routine nursing interventions
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and patient transfers
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses to care
• Support neurology step down and oncology needs as assigned

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
