Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide adult inpatient care in a resource pool unit in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The assignment spans ortho, neurology step down, oncology, surgical telemetry, and med-surg telemetry patients.

• Assess adult med-surg and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes
• Administer medications and coordinate treatments
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharge teaching
• Document patient status and nursing interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses on plans

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Acute care med-surg and telemetry nursing skills

• TNCC certification
