Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide direct care for adult medical-surgical telemetry patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The unit uses telemetry monitoring and serves mixed medical and cardiac patients.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes
• Assess patients and update nursing plans
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document care and patient responses
• Educate patients and families on recovery needs

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Med-surg and telemetry clinical skills

• TNCC certification
