Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care in a resource pool at an acute care hospital in Des Moines, Iowa on a 26-week contract. The assignment supports adult med-surg and telemetry patients.

• Assess patients and monitor telemetry findings
• Administer medications and support prescribed treatments
• Coordinate daily care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Respond to changes in patient condition
• Educate patients and families on care plans
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Accredited nursing program graduation
