Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient nursing care in an acute care hospital resource pool for a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The role supports adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients across ortho, neurology step down, oncology, and surgical telemetry areas.

• Assess patient condition and monitor telemetry trends
• Administer medications and ordered treatments
• Coordinate care with physicians and nursing staff
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Respond to changes in patient status and escalate concerns
• Support admissions, discharges, and care transitions

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
