Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Simpsonville, SC

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide bedside nursing care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Simpsonville, South Carolina. The 25-bed unit serves adults and geriatrics with orthopedic and bariatric telemetry patients and an average daily census of 20, and uses Epic.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond to changes
• Administer medications and manage blood products
• Perform central line and peripheral line care
• Support oxygen therapy, EKG testing, and dysrhythmia management
• Maintain isolation precautions and safe patient care
• Coordinate care with therapy, respiratory, pharmacy, radiology, and support services

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification
• 2 years of med surg/telemetry experience
• 1 year of Epic experience
• Experience with adults and geriatrics

• Telemetry unit experience
