Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Lancaster, SC

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in a 12-bed unit during a 13-week contract in Lancaster, South Carolina. The acute care hospital uses Epic and supports a 1:6-1:7 ratio.

• Assess and monitor adult and geriatric patients
• Administer medications, IV therapies and blood products
• Manage telemetry monitoring and report rhythm changes
• Maintain central, peripheral and PICC lines
• Implement oxygen therapy, isolation precautions and safety measures

• South Carolina or Compact Registered Nurse license in hand before start
• BLS, ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certification
• 2 years of med surg experience
• Prior travel experience
• Epic charting system experience

• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Port access and management
• Wound care and wound vac
