Per Diem Med Surg / Telemetry RN in South Carolina

A Per Diem Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult patients in a hospital unit in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit uses Epic and serves a 1:5 patient ratio with telemetry monitoring and general medical-surgical care.

• Monitor telemetry patterns and report changes promptly
• Administer medications and support IV insulin protocols
• Assist with rapid response and code events
• Manage ostomies, feeding tubes, surgical drains, and blood products
• Start and maintain IV access and support blood draws
• Provide oxygen, tracheostomy, and oral suction care
• Follow isolation precautions and safe patient handling practices

• Active South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of Med Surg experience
• BLS and ACLS
• Epic experience
• Adult telemetry and medical-surgical clinical skills

• Charge nurse experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Level 1 and 2 trauma experience
• Cardiac drip management without titration
