Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Orangeburg, SC

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide bedside care for adult and geriatric patients on a 13-week contract in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The new 30-bed unit serves common medical conditions, uses Epic, and runs at a 1:6 ratio.

• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Assess adult and geriatric patients with common medical conditions
• Interpret dysrhythmias and support cardiac rhythm care
• Administer oxygen and maintain nasal cannula therapy
• Manage peripheral lines and site care
• Apply isolation precautions and PPE practices

• South Carolina or compact Registered Nurse license in hand before start
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of medical-surgical telemetry experience
• Medical-surgical telemetry care, telemetry monitoring, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Oxygen administration, nasal cannula use, peripheral line care, renal failure care, and isolation precautions

• Community hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience
