Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Orangeburg, SC

A Travel Medical Surgical and Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for adults and geriatrics in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The 30-bed unit treats common medical conditions, uses Epic, and works with a 1:6 ratio. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry and identify rhythm changes
• Assess adults and older adults with medical-surgical conditions
• Administer oxygen therapy and maintain peripheral line care
• Respond to changes in condition and coordinate with support services
• Document care in Epic
• Follow isolation precautions and unit protocols

• Active South Carolina or compact Registered Nurse license in hand before start
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of medical surgical/telemetry experience
• Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Peripheral line care and oxygen administration
• Isolation precautions and PPE skills

• Community hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience
