Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Columbia, SC

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care on a 13-week contract in Columbia, South Carolina. The 10-bed unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in an acute care hospital and uses Epic.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and oxygen support
• Assess patients with cardiac and medical-surgical needs and update the plan of care
• Manage central lines, peripheral IVs, PICC lines, and feeding tubes
• Support dysrhythmia management, isolation precautions, and wound care
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

• South Carolina or compact Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Epic charting experience

• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Port access and management
• Charge nurse experience
