Per Diem Med Surg / Telemetry RN in South Carolina

A Per Diem Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide adult inpatient nursing care in a hospital medical-surgical telemetry unit in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit uses Epic, cares for adults, and works at a 1:5 ratio.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes
• Assess adults with medical-surgical and neurological needs
• Administer medications and manage IV insulin protocols
• Start and maintain IV access, peripheral lines, and blood product therapy
• Provide care for feeding tubes, tracheostomies, drains, and ostomies
• Support rapid response and code team interventions
• Perform phlebotomy, oxygen administration, suctioning, and isolation precautions

• Active South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Epic charting experience
• Telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, and acute care skills

• Charge nurse experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Trauma Level I or II experience
