Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Seneca, SC

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics on a 36-bed medical-surgical unit in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Seneca, South Carolina. The unit averages 20 patients daily, uses Epic charting, and includes a charge Registered Nurse each shift.

• Assess adult and geriatric medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report dysrhythmias and clinical changes
• Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and oxygen
• Manage central lines, peripheral lines, feeding tubes, and wound care
• Support care for respiratory disease, infection, dementia, neurological issues, and CVA
• Use isolation precautions and respond with rapid response and code teams as needed

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of medical-surgical/telemetry experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Medical-surgical/telemetry competency
• Blood product administration, central line care, IV maintenance, dysrhythmia interpretation, and wound care skills
