Per Diem Med Surg / Telemetry RN in South Carolina

A Per Diem Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult patients in a hospital unit in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit uses Epic and maintains a 1:5 patient ratio.

• Monitor remote telemetry and report rhythm changes promptly
• Administer IV insulin, blood products, and ordered medications
• Manage peripheral lines, IV starts, and phlebotomy tasks
• Provide ostomy, feeding tube, and surgical drain care
• Support oxygen, tracheostomy, suctioning, and isolation precautions
• Assist rapid response and code team interventions

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of medical-surgical experience
• Current BLS and ACLS
• Epic charting experience
• Strong adult telemetry and bedside assessment skills

• Previous charge experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience
